Goldie is a very promising young dam for any breeding program. She will undoubtedly have superior EPDs given she is Bogie's offspring. Her mother givers her fiber length, stature, bone, and conformation. Bogie will give her superior fiber traits. Her mother is easiest birther we have on the ranch. She breeds quickly and has uncomplicated births to good sized healthy cria. A very proven dam. I have no doubt that her offspring will also retain these valuable characteristics.
Gold only needs to be bred to a fine alpaca who has decent staple length to improve her offspring. I would not want to loose the staple length from her Mom Pheri who is in the 1% for staple. Don't you love those bunny ears. Always a comment by judges in the show ring, especially when they feel how furry they are.
We will certainly breed Gold when old enough. She is worthy of donating to our breeding program, she will need an improvement in SD in who is chosen as her service sire, but definitely a good choice as a foundation dam if the pairing is right.
