Morgan’s Fortunato Farm is located in the beautiful, rolling hills of West Virginia, in the Mid-Ohio Valley, twelve miles from Parkersburg, West Virginia, and about twenty five miles from Marietta, Ohio.
The farm began in 2003, with a carefully selected group of five huacaya females. Since that time, we have quietly been creating the caliber of alpacas upon which our customers have been able to build their entire breeding programs.
The priority at Morgan’s Fortunato Farm has always been on quality, above all else, and on exceptional genetics. We specialize in white and light huacayas, because of their excellent fleece characteristics and for the versatility of their fiber. We approach breeding with an educated understanding of science and with the goal of continual elevation of the herd. The alpacas at Morgan’s Fortunato Farm not only embody our objectives of proven, superior bloodlines, healthy, sound conformation and the fleece qualities we strive for of: long staple length, fineness, uniformity and character, but their individual personalities are also entertaining, calm and extremely friendly.
Morgan’s Fortunato Farm is a full service farm, offering sales, breeding, agisting, birthing, support and education. Everything on the farm is done “hands on” by our family. Although work schedules have not allowed for the flexibility of attending shows in recent years, we never attended a show where we did not ribbon and it has not stopped our customers from taking blues and color championships when they show the offspring of our foundation herd. Visit our site or our farm and see what Morgan’s Fortunato Farm has to offer you. We genuinely wish to help our customers succeed and to be able to live the life we have been fortunate enough to enjoy with these truly amazing, intelligent, loving creatures.
