Snow Diamond Alpacas is an Oregon family-owned and -operated business with three member-partners: Austin, Sharon and Don Greene. We are intensely focused on producing the ideal alpaca through carefully selected genetics. Our huacaya alpacas’ bloodlines include many of the industry's legendary sires and dams, including stars that we've produced.
As quality-oriented breeders, we produce exceptional alpacas that, in turn, produce elite fleece and progeny with high breeding value. At the end of the day, our goal is to produce exceptional fiber. To that end, we breed for alpacas that give us improved and sustained fiber fineness, uniformity, character and density with each generation.
We also host the annual Snow Diamond Select invitational auction during Columbus Day weekend in October in Bend, Oregon. The Select offers top-quality breeding stock from America’s most prestigious breeders and draws buyers from across the country and beyond.
The Alpaca Boutique by Snow Diamond is our on-farm store that offers natural and hand-dyed yarn from our alpaca herd, and is full to overflowing with the most luxurious alpaca fashions you can imagine!
