Important notice regarding internet security
In order to be as secure as possible with payment processing through our website, AOA maintains PCI compliance. We have been notified that in order to keep our compliance, we must remove support for older web browsers that use TLS 1.0 and TLS1.1, and only support newer browsers which use the newer TLS 1.2 standard.
What this means for our members is that those who use older web browsers will need to immediately upgrade their browser in order to continue making purchases through our website.
The new standard (TLS 1.2) is supported by the most recent versions of all major web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari (Mac only). To test your browser to see if it supports TLS 1.2 visit the following link https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html
If your browser does not pass…
- We recommend using Chrome or Firefox and updating to the latest version. You can do that by using the following links.
- If you are using Windows 7, updating Internet Explorer to 10 or 11 will solve this problem.
- If you are running Internet Explorer 10 or higher and still experiencing problems, you may need to manually enable TLS 1.2. To enable, click Internet Options on the Tools menu. On the Advanced tab, scroll down and make sure Use TLS 1.2 is selected.
- If, by chance, you are still using Windows XP on a computer, you MUST use Firefox or Chrome. Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft and will not allow upgraded versions of Internet Explorer (IE).
