There’s more to Nationals than the show ring. Explore activities and experiences for visitors of all ages throughout the weekend.
Get up close with an alpaca and capture the moment at the Alpaca Selfie Booth! This free experience gives visitors the opportunity to meet an alpaca and take home a memorable photo from Nationals.
The Alpaca Costume Contest brings creativity to Nationals as participants of all ages team up with their alpacas to present imaginative costumes and themes. Entries are judged with alpaca comfort and safety as an important consideration.
Visitors are invited to watch as alpacas and their handlers take the stage and compete for top honors.
Send the kids on an adventure through Nationals! The scavenger hunt takes young visitors around the show to find items, answer questions, and interact with exhibitors, vendors, and other participants. Once they complete the hunt, they can return to the AOA booth to receive an Alpaca Activity Book.
