2026 Summer Social and Education Day
Hosted by Karl & Jan Heinrich of Long Hollow Suri Alpacas
Our annual Summer Social and Education Day, hosted at Long Hollow Suri Alpacas in Gallatin. This year’s event features two outstanding guest speakers. Laurel Shouvlin, a certified Alpaca Owners Association judge, will lead an interactive morning session exploring what judges look for in fiber quality and animal conformation, including hands-on evaluation of both Suri and Huacaya alpacas—an invaluable experience for breeders and enthusiasts alike.
In the afternoon, Dr. Shelli Rampold will present a practical and timely session on disaster response planning, providing essential tools and resources to help safeguard your farm and livestock.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from two of the best industry experts, connect with fellow alpaca owners, and strengthen your knowledge and preparedness!
Please note that space is limited, so we encourage you to reserve your spot as soon as possible. This event is offered free of charge; however, an RSVP is essential so we can adequately prepare materials, food, and seating for all attendees.
