2025 AOA Election Results

The results of the 2025 Alpaca Owners Association, Inc. (AOA) election are in!

We are pleased to announce the newly elected members of the AOA Board of Directors:

• Brian Houchin, Houchin Family Alpacas, Illinois
• Scott Miller, Crescent Moon Ranch, Oregon
• Jay Penica, Walnut Ridge Acres, Pennsylvania

Please join us in congratulating these individuals on their election. Their terms will officially begin in July 2025.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the candidates who stepped forward to run in this year’s election. Volunteering for a three-year term on the national board is a significant commitment, and we are grateful for your dedication to the alpaca industry. Your willingness to serve reflects the strength and passion within our community.

A sincere thank you to our outgoing board members, Rhonda Deschner and Mary Miller. Your leadership and service have made a lasting impact, and we deeply appreciate your contributions to AOA and the broader alpaca community.

We would also like to recognize the AOA Election Committee for their essential role in the election process.
