Dear AOA Members: Thank you for changing course and joining us in Nebraska this past weekend! I am grateful for all of you who traveled many miles to compete, network, and have some fun at the 2021 AOA National Alpaca Show sponsored by Alpacas of Moose Creek Ranch and Red Granite Ranch. While we covered our faces with protective masks, I could still see the smiles coming through! Listening to the judges talk about the tough competition in each class, then call all eight Supreme Champions the total package proves how far our genetics have developed. Congratulations to all our exhibitors, championship winners, Supremes, and Breeder Cup winners! I hope you enjoyed our team-focused pizza party at the Meet & Greet, complete with the Gold Medal and Team USA signature cocktails. Thank you, Amanda VandenBosch for presenting a bite-sized piece of Spotlight on the Show Ring, despite our talkative crowd. We’ll be sharing some photo booth pictures on Facebook to spark some fun memories. For those who attended the Annual Fundraiser Banquet & Auction sponsored by The Futurity by Celebrity Sales, I don’t know if you laughed as hard as I did, but I can assure you my face hurt when I left, having watched you give your basket sales pitches, bid, clap, laugh and enjoy the evening. Who can forget Hilary Devin sharing some Rocky Mountain High, Bob Pulse coming to the mic and stating I’m looking for a partner (for the national show sponsorship, which he got with Flying Iron and Tierra Prometida despite Raynay and Heritage Farm giving them a run for their money…literally!). And Joe Miller better watch his back, as I’m confident Sharon Milligan is coming for his job after this weekend! There are so many more stories, but I will stop there. We met our auction goal thanks to you, and we are over the moon with thankfulness! On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff, I cannot begin to appropriately thank everyone enough, who supported this event. Please look over the list below and know how appreciative we are to you all. We really do celebrate every dollar that comes in! If I missed anyone, I am so sorry. Again, thank you. Here’s to you,
