2025 EPDs Released — Start Planning Your Next Breeding Decisions

The 2025 Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) calculations are now available online. EPDs set AOA-registered alpacas apart by providing objective genetic insight that supports informed breeding and purchasing decisions and drives measurable herd improvement.

This year’s calculation includes trait data submitted before September 2025. Please download and save your 2025 EPD report, as previous calculations are not archived.

Plan Now for the 2026 Shearing Season

Now is the time to prepare for shearing season. We encourage you to schedule your shearer early and organize your sampling process in advance to ensure efficient and accurate testing.
