Blood Card and Registry Deadlines Before Software Transition

As Alpaca Owners Association, Inc. (AOA) prepares for the upcoming software transition, blood cards will be sent to the lab on Tuesday, August 4 and August 18. Cards should arrive by the preceding Monday to ensure shipment to the lab on Tuesday.

Please note the final date AOA will send blood cards to the lab before the transition is:

Tuesday, August 18.

After August 18, AOA will temporarily pause sending blood cards while the software rollout is completed. Blood card submissions will resume after the new system is live.

If you are entering fall shows and need registrations completed, this is your last opportunity to have blood cards sent before the transition. Please plan accordingly and submit any needed blood cards and authorizations as soon as possible.

Pending Transactions

To ensure data accuracy during the transition, all registrations, transfers, and other unfinished registry work must be completed before the transition.

If you have pending registrations or transfers, please log in and complete them as soon as possible. For transactions involving authorizations, parentage review, DNA testing, or other special circumstances, we encourage you to begin now to allow enough time for completion before the transition.

Account Balances

As part of the transition, we ask all members to review their accounts and ensure any outstanding balances are resolved.

If your account has a credit balance and you do not plan to use it, please contact the AOA office to request a refund check.
