In an attempt to make our 52 acre historic farm site profitable, in 2005 we entered the alpaca industry with 3 breeding females, two with crias at side. Nine years later, we have grown our herd to 136 genetically diverse, but nationally championed alpacas. Though we have lived in the same county our entire life, we can now happily say that we have added friends and associates from all over the United States because of alpacas.
Our farm is a locally well-known agritourism site where tours are conducted frequently, classes in heritage skills using alpaca fiber are taught, high quality alpacas are sold to established or newly forming farms, and stud services of our champion males are available. We fully support our state and national organizations as well as the industry in general.
Alpaca farming has expanded us in a wonderful way. We love what we are doing!
