Skyfiber Ranch began in 2013 and we are proud of what we have accomplished with our distinct herd. Our primary focus is to produce superb breeding and show quality true black alpacas from exceptional and diverse genetic lines. We use genetic testing to aid our breeding decisions, but equally important is our belief that true black alpacas with multiple generations of black in the pedigree help ensure that the black color is consistent and predictable in future generations. We strive to continually improve fiber characteristics and conformation so that each generation improves upon the last.
At Skyfiber, we collaborate with our clients through each step of their alpaca venture, including helping you with a business plan designed to help you achieve your specific goals. Just as our mentor farms continue to be there for us, we are committed to supporting our clients and providing excellent, ongoing customer care. Skyfiber is a full-service farm located in beautiful Marshall, Virginia, about an hour outside of Washington D.C.
