Snowmass Rain Dancer has fabulous genetics! His sire, Snowmass Best Man, won first Place for Get of Sire at The Futurity, Reserve Herdsire of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Best Man was the highest selling and featured Alpaca at the 2012 Snowmass auction, and was purchased by an alpaca ranch in Switzerland! Offspring of this male, known for his extremely fine fleece and revolutionary long, Silky, draping locks will be prized, indeed. Rain Dancer’s dam is 5Peruvian Tapara.

Just look at his fantastic genetics: Quechua, Accoyo Elite, Snowmass Maree Love, Hemingway, Snowmass Wedding Pacabells, Don Julio and Pachelbel!

Snowmass Rain Dancer was on our 2013 and 2014 show strings. Rain Dancer brought home many awards, including Reserve Color Champion banners and Blue Ribbons at both The Futurity and IAO shows in 2013. In addition, Rain Dancer won 1st Place at the Gold Country Gathering (as a yearling) in 2013, and a Blue Ribbon at Alpacamania (as a two-year-old) in 2014.

Extremely dense, very bright fleece, with good coverage; show record. In May, 2018, Cheryl Gehly appraised Rain Dancer at 20-21 microns at almost 6 years old. Uniform micron, nice handle, and good density with very bright fleece. Secondaries are fine!
