Contact Mary Curtis

Hello, my name is Mary Curtis. Myself, my husband and our three children live in North Central Illinois. I am a graduate of Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. I currently work as the office manager for a local truck and trailer dealership.

My alpaca adventure started in 2015 with a purchase of three females from a farm in Central Illinois. Since then, I have run a successful ranching business. I have cultivated a small herd that has produced offspring which have won ribbons and banners at various shows.

I went to the 2016 National Show in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I met quite a few owners and caught the “show bug.” I first showed at the 2017 Illinois RailSplitter where my little girl took 2nd place. After that, I was hooked. I participated in various Midwest shows, as well as, the 2018 and 2020 National Shows. I trained with Show Superintendent Judy Schroeder at the 2020 National Show. I had the honor of being the Show Superintendent at the Illinois Alpaca and Fiber Fest’s first annual Walking Fleece Show in 2021.

I look forward to working with you at your show!
