Florida | University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine

In the state of Florida, veterinarians are not legally able to provide medical advice or consults without an established client-patient-veterinarian relationship. We do, however, offer professional consultation for veterinarians about their patients, and we are always available to admit animals in need of medical care to the UF veterinary hospital.

The UF Large Animal Hospital is not a primary care facility. We encourage our clients to establish a relationship with a veterinarian in their area.
