2024 AOA Board Candidates

We're excited to announce the candidates for the upcoming AOA board election. Committing to three years of service in a national organization is no small decision, and we are grateful for their consideration. Now, it's time for you, our members, to get to know them better and make an informed decision about the future leadership of our organization.

• Jason Gill — Cotton Creek Farms (Michigan)
• Gina Glasscock — Legendary Alpacas of Texas (Texas)
• Kerri Harting — Eagle Eye Farm (Wisconsin)
• Michael Livingston — Autumn Sun Alpacas (Colorado)
• Scott Miller — Crescent Moon Ranch (Oregon)
• Cory Wesson — Sopris Alpaca Farm (Colorado)

The terms expiring this year are Wini Labrecque, Michael Livingston, and Scott Miller.

Election Schedule

• May 6: Last day to become a paid member to vote in the upcoming election
• May 9: Online voting opens
• May 30: Online voting closes
• July 13: 2024–25 Board of Directors and new officers introduced at the AOA Annual Meeting during the AOA National Education and Fiber Conference in Burlington, Kentucky.

Voting in the Election

To vote in the upcoming election: you must be a paid member (Primary, Business, Corporate), at least 18 years old, and own at least 25% of a live AOA-registered alpaca. If you haven't renewed your membership yet, log in and renew from your member dashboard. As a reminder, individuals, not farms, are AOA members. Spouses or partners must have their own memberships to be eligible to vote in the election.
